Social anxiety disorder is also known as social phobia.

This disorder is mainly the fear of being evaluated negatively, being the center of attention or being anxious in social situations.

As a result, affected people tend to avoid certain situations such as dating, job interviews, eating or drinking in public and social gatherings.

It is important to understand that the fear of being evaluated, scrutinized or embarrassed in front of other people is the main reason why people suffering from SAD get anxious.

Some people get anxious in most social situations while others get social phobia in specific situations such as mingling with strangers, talking in front of others or speaking to strangers.

Therefore, there are different extents to which one can get anxious and the signs can vary from one person to another.

However, here are the common social anxiety triggers:
• Going on a date
• Performing on stage
• Taking exams
• Attending parties or social gatherings
• Public speaking
• Meeting new people
• Being criticized or teased

Treatment options

Treatments for SAD depends on how well you function daily as well as the severity of your physical and emotional symptoms.

The length of treatment also varies from one person to another because some people might respond well to initial treatment and may not require further treatment.

On the other hand, if one is severe, he or she might require some form of support or treatment throughout their lives.

Therefore, seeking professional help is recommended because SAD can have severe side effects in the long run such as depression, alcoholism and relying on certain drugs.

Prescription medications

There are different medications that can be used to treat social phobia.

These medications have both pros and cons and they should be taken as prescribed by the doctor. They include:

Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors

These medications are highly recommended by medical practitioners because they have tolerable side effects, they are effective and easy to administer.

However, because they have withdrawal effects, one is supposed to minimize the dosage when ending treatment.

Some of the options to use include Prozac, Lexapro, Zoloft, Paxil CR, and Luvox CR.

Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors

These act on norepinephrine and neurotransmitters serotonin to reduce anxiety because they are antidepressants. They include Pristiq, Cymbalta and Effector XR.

Beta Blockers

Beta blockers are taken orally before being or undertaking anxiety-inducing event e.g. a performance.

They reduce anxiety symptoms, making it easier for the affected person to carry out the activity with ease Tenormin and Inderal are examples of beta blockers.

Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors

These medications are considered to be among the most useful in treating social phobia, although they can cause serious side effects if medication and dietary guidelines are not followed. They include Nardil, Marplan, and Parnate.

Psychological therapies

Therapy can be used alone or together with medications to treat social anxiety disorder.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that’s aimed at modifying your thoughts and behaviors so that your emotions can be influenced positively.

Social training skills, exposure, and cognitive restructuring are the three types of CBT techniques used to help people suffering from SAD.

The main principle used in exposure technique is practice and experience by being exposed to situations that cause anxiety. After a period of time, one gets used to such situations and adapts easily.

Cognitive restructuring, on the other hand, is designed to focus on cognitive symptoms of social phobia. After determining and evaluating these symptoms, it is easy to train the mind to have positive emotions instead of being anxious about certain things.

Finally, social training skills are all about training in a number of exercises such as rehearsals, modeling, public speaking, etc. When you train in such situations, one gets used to social gatherings and it is easy to curb social phobia because you will have improved your self-esteem.

  1. Irrespective of receiving daily oral or future injectable depot therapies, these require health care visits for medication and monitoring of safety and response. If patients are treated early enough, before a lot of immune system damage has occurred, life expectancy is close to normal, as long as they remain on successful treatment. However, when patients stop therapy, virus rebounds to high levels in most patients, sometimes associated with severe illness because i have gone through this and even an increased risk of death. The aim of “cure”is ongoing but i still do believe my government made millions of ARV drugs instead of finding a cure. for ongoing therapy and monitoring. ARV alone cannot cure HIV as among the cells that are infected are very long-living CD4 memory cells and possibly other cells that act as long-term reservoirs. HIV can hide in these cells without being detected by the body’s immune system. Therefore even when ART completely blocks subsequent rounds of infection of cells, reservoirs that have been infected before therapy initiation persist and from these reservoirs HIV rebounds if therapy is stopped. “Cure” could either mean an eradication cure, which means to completely rid the body of reservoir virus or a functional HIV cure, where HIV may remain in reservoir cells but rebound to high levels is prevented after therapy interruption.Dr Itua Herbal Medicine makes me believes there is a hope for people suffering from,Parkinson's disease,Schizophrenia,Lung Cancer,Breast Cancer,psoriasis,Colo-Rectal Cancer,Blood Cancer,Prostate Cancer, siva.Fatal Familial Insomnia Factor V Leiden Mutation ,Epilepsy Dupuytren's disease,Desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor Diabetes ,Coeliac disease,Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease,Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy, Ataxia,Arthritis,Amyotrophic Lateral Scoliosis,Fibromyalgia,Fluoroquinolone Toxicity
